4-week class with Abbey Merker

‘Brain rot’ named Oxford Word of the Year 2024 - Should we be concerned about the impact of consuming excessive amounts of low-quality online content, especially on social media? Can we pull back the curtain to see the effects of our digital habits? Are current technological developments forming roadblocks when it comes to pursuing Godly wisdom? This brand new class explores biblical principles applied to our digital world, looking at the impact of brain rot on both reaching the lost and our own spiritual growth, and hopefully discovering a path through the algorithm.

Introduction to the World Christian Movement

5-week class with Mike Woods

We live in a time of the greatest expansion of the Church in human history. While the church in the west has been in steady decline for decades, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is exploding all over the world. Yet most Christians know little to nothing about what God is doing in the world.

The purpose of this class is to help participants understand the “Great Commission” in light of the promises of God, to have a deeper understanding of the challenges and obstacles our global brethren face, to be able to celebrate the many victories of the Gospel that are being won all over the world, and to value our own contribution to worldwide Christian movement.

The Means of Growth

5-week class with James Rochford

At times, following God can feel like trying to function with a dull headache—something just feels off. During these seasons, it’s natural to wonder if something is seriously wrong...

Are you experiencing this? There’s good news: you’re most likely not facing a rare spiritual sickness. You might just need a simple tune-up.

This new five-week course is based on new material from a forthcoming book on the Means of Growth that will be coauthored by James Rochford and Joey Francisco. In this class, you will discover new, practical, and creative ways to engage in the means of growth—through hands-on learning and interaction with others.

Whether you’re a new believer seeking to grow closer to God or a long-time Christian in need of refreshment, this class is designed to help.
