Liz compares critical, necessary and charitable judgments.  Although judging critically comes naturally to us, God's way is to judge charitably.  If we do not, we risk losing our unity, our transformation, and our witness.

Paul rebukes the Corinthian church for boasting and comparing themselves to others.  Paul does not care what others think of him because God is his judge and he has been acquitted by Christ.
