Revealing the Mystery

Scott Risley
Ephesians 3:1-11

God hid His plan of redemption until He revealed His Son,Jesus, to the world. He kept His plan hidden from all the spiritual forces so that Satan would be fooled into cooperating with His plan. Jesus dying on the cross was not a defeat but God's victory over sin. God's solution solved the problem of the penalty for sin, and any accusations against God's character. He is both loving and just. God can be trusted!

The Reasonable Effectiveness of Mathematics

Mike Sullivan
Ephesians 3:1-11

Ever wonder how it's possible that the abstract language of mathematics can be used to make stunning predictions about the world we live in? This session explores answers to this question, including those consistent with a biblical worldview.

The Resurrection

Ryan Lowery
Matthew 28:1-20

The resurrection of Jesus after His crucifixion is essential to Biblical faith. If Jesus did not rise from the dead, then His sacrifice was not acceptable to God and we are still dead in our sins. This extraordinary claim deserves an extraordinary examination. There is powerful historical evidence for this claim. If you doubt these claims, have you truly examined the historical evidence?

Was the Bible Really Inspired by God??

James Rochford
2 Timothy 3:6-17

One common objection to believing in the God of the Bible is questioning the reliability of the bible which was written by men. There is significant evidence that the Bible is a trustworthy representative of God's very words. 1. The Gospels are relatively reliable historical documents. 2. In the Gospels, Jesus claimed to be God. 3. Several independent lines of evidence verify Jesus as supernatural. 4. Jesus (God) taught that all Scripture was true and inspired.

What Is Wrong with the World?

James Rochford
2 Timothy 3:1-5

In Paul's second letter to Timothy, he discusses how thoroughly messed up the world will be in the end. People will be lovers of self rather than lovers of God. When everyone is living for self, everyone is profoundly disappointed in life. When we put God at the center of our lives, we have substantial healing, healthy marriages and families and a right relationship with our Creator.

The Mind-set of "Alien" Christians

Gary DeLashmutt
1 Peter 1:10-21

When the Apostle Peter explained our place in God's plan of redemption, he reminds us God had a plan from the beginning of time to rescue us that was kept hidden until Jesus came to earth. Peter challenges us to have a battle mind-set. We have urgency because we are in a battle and on a mission that matters. We have confidence because we are secure in God who has already delivered us from judgment.

What If You Could Know the Future?

James Rochford
Revelation 1:1-18

Because God has blessed us with the Book of Revelation, we can know the future! Knowing the future brings us happiness because it provides true security during frightening times. It gives us a hope-filled perspective on our suffering. It fills our lives with never-ending love relationships that don't end at death. It inspires urgency because we only get one chance. Will you trust Jesus with 1, your next life and 2, with your current life?

Jesus on the End Times

Ryan Lowery
Matthew 24:1-31

In Matthew 24 Jesus describes the "end times." which includes Jesus' return to earth. He makes it clear that no one knows when this will happen, but there are signs that it is approaching. This could be soon or many years from now, but with the track record of Biblical prophesy coming true, we are wise to be ready for Christ's return, receiving his offer of forgiveness through his death on the cross.

God's Invitation in Isaiah 55

Gary DeLashmutt
Isaiah 55:1-13

Over seven hundred years before Jesus walked the earth, God was offering His invitation to the whole world to come the lavish feast He will prepare for those who accept His invitation. The invitation is offered to all but only those who accept it will partake of the banquet. To accept His invitation one only has to repent, which means to change one's mind about your path of alienation from God. Your invitation has already been paid for by Jesus' death on the cross.
