Paul tells us about what real servant love is all about. Real love is sacrificial towards others and not self promoting. We can spend our lives caught up in our own accomplishments, or in theological debate; but Paul tells us that God wants our focus to be on sacrificial love.

Their real issue was that they were embarrassed by her attitude and uncomfortable with her priorities. Many who fail to experience the goodness of a life for God have actually failed to truly prioritize the most important things.

Acts 9:1-19

While on the road to Damascus, the Pharisee Saul encounters Jesus Christ. Saul was a very zealous and wealthy citizen that studied under Gamaliel and was a member of the Sanhedrin. Jesus asks Paul why he continues to persecute his church and tells him to go to Damascus to await further instructions. From Damascus, it's revealed that God has selected Paul to be His witness to the Gentiles with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From this encounter with Jesus, Paul realized his own belief system had been wrong, and that real purpose came through Jesus Christ, along with personal salvation. As a result, Paul wasn't afraid to lose everything for the sake of God's work progressing.

Throughout this presentation, Debra and Donna outline the numerous programs given through the organization, which include Family Retreats, Through The Roof, Wheels for the World, and Special Delivery. They also offer equipping materials for individuals who are interested in starting similar minded ministries and programs in their own churches.

ACCESS Ministry: Serving the Disabled at Xenos

This workshop explains the motivation and the work behind ministries that serve the disabled at Xenos. We are all created equal in God's image, and we are all important parts of the body of Christ. Therefore, this group leads a multitude of programs such as: an Oasis Children's Program, the Young Adult Adapted Bible Study, home church liaison, and sign language interpreting in order to help meet the needs and incorporate members of the church who may have disabilities. At the end of the presentation, there is a panel discussion of volunteers in these programs.

Greatness and the Gospel

Throughout his ministry, Jesus' disciples could not grasp the paradox of his ultimate power manifested in ultimate weakness. When the disciples argue about which is the greatest, Jesus teaches that those who are servants will be considered the greatest. Instead of seeking worldly greatness, followers of Jesus can seek a greatness for the gospel.
