The Bible repeatedly describes God as the "good shepherd," offering loving leadership and care. Just as sheep under a good shepherd's care trust him, we should seek to establish a trusting relationship with God through Jesus, looking to Him for our needs. With Jesus as our shepherd we have rest from our anxious fears, spiritual nourishment, stability, fulfillment, and eternal life.
