The church in Colossae was struggling with issues but Paul focuses not on the issues but on what is true of them and of God in their lives.

Who is Jesus?  He is the selfless Rescuer, the cosmic Creator, the Defeater of death,  and the universal Peacemaker.

Jesus changes how we think about suffering, how we use our gifts and talents, how we share about our beliefs, and how we dedicate our lives to others.

Of the worldviews out there, which is true?  Which is good?  Why do you believe in it?  Don't be deceived by persuasive arguments that are false because your eternal destiny depends upon what you choose to believe.

Jesus paid the ultimate price to disarm Satan's lies about God. Don't revive the lies of Ritualism, the need for a Mediator, and the need to follow Rules.  Man-made religion promotes all these lies.

True spirituality focuses on not only the behavior and will-power but also on the beliefs. The primary battleground is the mind. Sometimes, one must flee from the sinful temptation before being able to win the battle of the mind.

True spirituality is not using rituals, or mediators, or rules but growing in your relationship with God and with others.

The majority of data shows that the odds are against you having a successful marriage if you follow the world's way, but the Bible has an alternative that will allow you to not rely on chance but on God who wants to see you succeed in marriage and family. 

Learning to share your faith in God begins with talking to Him in prayer. Developing a winsome lifestyle is wise.  Growing as a communicator will allow you to know how to respond with grace.
