By the Dwell Missions Staff
We are thrilled to announce that Dwell has two new Global Partners. We have formed new partnerships with church planters in Burkina Faso and the Democratic Republic of Congo. These ministries have gone through an extensive vetting process, including multiple field visits to observe the work and conversations with their leadership.
In Burkina Faso, Kingdom Investments International is dedicated to church planting and community development. It hopes to start at least one house church in each of the 8,000 villages in Burkina Faso through its church planting program. It already has 100 small house churches that represent 54 ethnic groups. Its community development program works in step with its church planting work. It offers microfinance lending, clean water solutions, and relief to widows and orphans.
In the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tumaini Christian Fellowship started small and has rapidly grown in the last couple of years. This network consists of 703 people meeting in 36 house churches. There are 87 house church leaders, overseen by several church planters. It is remarkable growth for the relatively short amount of time the network has been in existence. In addition to house church planting, TCF has a youth ministry, training ministries, equipping literature, and a medical center.
These two ministries closely align with our values, and they are great additions to our Global Partnership program. The program seeks to empower local leaders and plant churches among least-reached populations. Faithful indigenous leadership teams lead both Burkina Faso and DR Congo ministries. They strive to plant house churches, invest in equipping more leaders and church planters, and adorn the gospel by helping the poor in their communities.
Please join us in praying for our new partners as they seek to reach their countries and West Africa for Christ. For more information about Global Partnerships, please visit our website at dwellcc.org/missions.
